William Bendix (January 14, 1906 – December 14, 1964) was an American film, television, and radio actor, who appeared in over 200 films including The Glass Key, Lifeboat, Wake Island, The Hairy Ape and The Babe Ruth Story. He also starred in the television series The Life of Riley.
