Walter Gotell was a German-British actor famous for playing the role of KGB General Gogol in the James Bond films. He appeared in seven Bond films from 1963 to 1987. He also acted in numerous TV shows and movies, earning critical acclaim for his work in 'The African Queen', 'A Bridge Too Far', and 'The Boys from Brazil'.
