Vyacheslav Tikhonov was a Soviet and Russian actor, known for his roles in many classic Soviet films such as "Seventeen Moments of Spring" and "The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed". He was awarded the title of People's Artist of the USSR in 1974 and remained a popular figure in Russian cinema until his death in 2009.
