Valentina Cortese was an Italian stage and film actress. She appeared in over 50 films including "Malice in Wonderland" and "The Barefoot Contessa" and worked with directors such as Federico Fellini and François Truffaut. She received an Academy Award nomination for her performance in "Day for Night". Cortese passed away in 2019 at the age of 96.
