Thomas Jefferson Byrd was an American actor known for his work in the films of Spike Lee. He appeared in a number of Lee's films, including "Clockers," "Bamboozled," "He Got Game," "Red Hook Summer," and "Da Sweet Blood of Jesus." Byrd was found shot to death in Atlanta, Georgia in October 2020.
