Takeshi Sakamoto was a renowned Japanese actor who appeared in over 300 films between 1926 and 1956. He was known for his comedic roles and appeared in films for legendary director Yasujiro Ozu. Sakamoto was also a founding member of the Daiichi Katsura acting troupe.
