Serap Aksoy is a Turkish-American biologist who specializes in the study of vector-borne infectious diseases. She is currently the Head of the Molecular Biology department at the Yale School of Public Health and has devoted her career to the development of vaccines and treatments for parasitic diseases such as African sleeping sickness and malaria.
