Sam Shepard

Sam Shepard was an award-winning American actor, playwright, director, and author. He was known for his work in theater and film, and wrote over 40 plays. Shepard won a Pulitzer Prize for drama in 1979 for "Buried Child" and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1983 for his role in "The Right Stuff." He passed away in 2017.
