Sacha Guitry (1885-1957) was a French actor, director, and screenwriter. He is known for his witty dialogue and celebrated as a pioneering French filmmaker. He began his career as a stage actor and became a director in the 1930s. He made over 30 films and won numerous awards, including the Grand Prix du Cinéma Français.
