Roger Hanin (1925-2015) was a French actor and director of Algerian-Jewish descent. He was best known for his role as the titular character in the TV series "Navarro" and appeared in over 70 films throughout his career. Hanin was also a prolific director, with credits including "The Crocodile" and "Hell's Beach".
