Robert Drew was an American documentary filmmaker and producer who is known for being the founder of the American cinéma vérité. Drew's most notable films include Primary (1960), Crisis: Behind a Presidential Commitment (1963), and The Chair (1963). Drew died in 2014 at the age of 90.
