Peggy Shannon

Peggy Shannon (January 10, 1907 – May 11, 1941) was an American actress who appeared in several films during the 1920s and 1930s, notably as the heroine in James Whale's horror film The Mystery of the Wax Museum (1933). She struggled with alcoholism and died at the age of 34 from a heart attack caused by acute alcoholism.
