Parviz Sayyad was an Iranian actor, director, and writer famous for his satirical social commentary in films and TV shows. He is best known for his role as Samad in the film "The Cow" and as the host of the TV program "Haft-e Tir." After the 1979 Iranian Revolution, he left Iran and continued his career in the United States. He passed away in 1993.
