Oscar Asche was an Australian actor, director, and writer, best known for his role as Koong-Shee in the play "Chu Chin Chow." He had a successful career in both the UK and Australia, and is credited with bringing Chinese and Japanese performers to the West. Asche passed away in 1936 at the age of 62.
