Norman Jewison is a Canadian film producer and director, born on July 21, 1926. He has directed over 30 feature films, including "In the Heat of the Night," "Fiddler on the Roof," and "Moonstruck." He has been nominated for numerous Academy Awards and won three, including the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award in 1999.
