Mischa Auer was a Russian-born actor who appeared in over 170 films and television shows throughout his career. He became known for his comedic roles and appeared in several Marx Brothers films. He was nominated for an Academy Award for his supporting role in the 1936 film "My Man Godfrey." Auer passed away in 1967 at the age of 61.
