Michiyo Yasuda (1939-2016) was a Japanese color designer and longtime collaborator of filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki. She worked on numerous Studio Ghibli animated films, including My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, and Spirited Away. Yasuda was known for her keen eye for color and her ability to bring depth and emotion to each film's visuals.
