Masumi Asano is a Japanese voice actress and singer born on August 25, 1977, in Noshiro, Akita Prefecture, Japan. She has voiced many characters in Japanese anime including Hakufu Sonsaku from Ikki Tousen, Yuuko Kousaka from Idol Defense Force Hummingbird and Takuto Hasegawa from Magical Canan. Asano also released a number of singles and albums as a singer.
