Lucy Saroyan was an American author, playwright, and actress. She was born in San Francisco in 1928 and was the daughter of the Pulitzer Prize-winning writer William Saroyan. She wrote several novels, including "The Sound of the Trumpet" and "Auntie Mame," which was adapted into a successful Broadway play and film. She passed away in 2003 at the age of 75.
