Lawrence Makoare is a New Zealand actor known for his roles in The Lord of the Rings trilogy (2001-2003), in which he played various characters including the Witch-king of Angmar and Lurtz. He has also appeared in the films Die Another Day (2002) and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005).
