Ken Maynard was an American actor and cowboy during the Golden Age of Hollywood. He starred in over 90 films, many of which were Westerns. He was known for performing his own stunts, including horse riding and trick shooting. Maynard was inducted into the Hall of Great Western Performers of the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in 1973.
