José Greco
José Greco (1918-2000) was a renowned flamenco dancer and choreographer. Born in Italy, he grew up in Brooklyn and began his dance career in the 1930s. He popularized flamenco in America, touring with his own company and performing on Broadway. He also appeared in films, including the 1956 movie Around the World in 80 Days.
