John Ireland was an American film and television actor known for his roles in classic Westerns such as "Red River" and "Gunfight at the O.K. Corral". He was nominated for an Academy Award for his supporting role in the 1948 film "All the King's Men". Ireland also appeared in numerous television shows including "Rawhide" and "The Twilight Zone".
