Jo Brand is a British comedian, writer and actress. She began her career as a psychiatric nurse before turning to comedy in the 1980s. She has appeared in a number of TV shows and films, including "Getting On" and "Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie." She is also a regular guest on panel shows, such as "QI" and "Have I Got News For You."
