Jessica Tandy was an English-American actress, known for her prolific career in stage, film, and television. She is perhaps best known for her roles in films such as "Driving Miss Daisy," "Fried Green Tomatoes," and "Cocoon," for which she won an Academy Award for Best Actress. Tandy passed away in 1994 at the age of 85.
