Jerry Nelson was a musician and puppeteer best known for his work on Sesame Street. He performed beloved characters such as Count von Count, Snuffleupagus, and Mr. Snuffleupagus for over four decades. Nelson also worked on other Jim Henson projects like Fraggle Rock and The Muppet Show. He passed away in 2012 at the age of 78.
