Jennifer Jones was an American actress who gained fame in the 1940s and 1950s for her roles in films such as "The Song of Bernadette," "Duel in the Sun," and "Love Is a Many-Splendored Thing." She won an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in "The Song of Bernadette" and was also known for her off-screen romance and eventual marriage to movie mogul David O. Selznick.
