Jeanette MacDonald was an American actress and singer, known for her musical films in the 1930s and 1940s. She starred in movies such as "Naughty Marietta", "Rose-Marie", and "The Merry Widow". MacDonald's partnership with Nelson Eddy was particularly well-known and they became known as "America's Singing Sweethearts". She passed away in 1965.
