James Arness
James Arness was an American actor, best known for his role as Marshal Matt Dillon in the television series Gunsmoke, which aired from 1955 to 1975. He also starred in several films, including Them!, Hondo, and The Thing from Another World. He passed away in 2011 at the age of 88.
