Jake Lloyd is an American former actor best known for his portrayal of Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. He retired from acting in 2001 and has since faced legal troubles. He was diagnosed with schizophrenia and transferred to a psychiatric facility in 2016.
