Jack Smethurst was an English actor, best known for his role as Eddie Booth in the sitcom Love Thy Neighbour in the 1970s. He also appeared in numerous films and television shows throughout his career, including The Goodies, The Bill, and Doctor Who. Smethurst passed away in July 2021, at the age of 76.
