J. Edward Bromberg was a Hungarian-American actor who appeared in over 100 films between 1934 and 1951. He was known for his distinctive voice and often played supporting roles, including the villain in many films. He was also prominent on Broadway and in radio dramas before his death in 1951 due to a heart attack.
