Itzhak Perlman is a famous Israeli-American violinist, conductor, and teacher. He is widely recognized as one of the greatest violinists of the 20th century and has won several awards throughout his career, including 16 Grammy Awards. He has also been an advocate for disability rights, having contracted polio at a young age which caused him to walk with the use of crutches.
