George Baker was an English actor and writer born in West Indies in 1931. He is best known for his role as Chief Inspector Wexford in the television series "The Ruth Rendell Mysteries". He also appeared in films such as "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" and "The Spy Who Loved Me". Baker passed away in 2011.
