G. D. Spradlin was an American actor, born on August 31, 1920, in Oklahoma. He appeared in over 70 films, including "The Godfather: Part II," "Apocalypse Now," and "Dick Tracy." He was also a successful businessman and served as a consultant for President Ronald Reagan. Spradlin passed away on July 24, 2011, in California.
