Don Taylor was an American actor and film director. He appeared in numerous films and television shows throughout the 1940s and 1950s before transitioning to directing. His directing credits include the films Escape from the Planet of the Apes and The Final Countdown. Taylor passed away in 1998 at the age of 78.
