Connie Booth is an American-born British-based retired actress, writer, and psychotherapist. She is best known for her role as Polly Sherman in the British comedy series Fawlty Towers, which she also co-wrote with her ex-husband John Cleese. After Fawlty Towers, Booth retired from acting to pursue a career in psychology.
