Carole Shelley was an English actress best known for her roles in the Broadway productions of "The Elephant Man" and "Wicked." She won a Tony Award for her portrayal of Madame Morrible in "Wicked." She also appeared in a number of films and television shows throughout her career. Shelley passed away in 2018 at the age of 79.
