Carole Landis was an actress and singer known for her roles in film noir and comedies of the 1940s. She starred in over 60 films, including "Topper Returns" and "My Gal Sal." Landis was also known for her work entertaining troops during World War II and was awarded the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award posthumously.
