Carol Vorderman is a Welsh television presenter, math and science educationalist, and author. She became famous for co-hosting the game show "Countdown" from 1982 to 2008. In addition to her TV work, Vorderman has also published several books on mathematics and has campaigned to improve maths education in the UK.
