Carl Betz was an American actor and director, best known for his role as Dr. Alex Stone on the 1960s TV series "The Donna Reed Show". He won an Emmy Award for his performance in 1961. Betz also appeared in films such as "Follow That Dream" and "The Impossible Years". He passed away in 1978 at the age of 56.
