Anni-Frid Lyngstad is a singer from Norway, best known as one of the members of the Swedish pop group ABBA. She was born in Narvik, Norway in 1945 and won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974 with ABBA's hit song "Waterloo". She continued to record music after ABBA disbanded and has released several successful solo albums.
