Andrea Camilleri
Andrea Camilleri (1925-2019) was an Italian author and playwright. He was best known for his Detective Montalbano series of novels, which were translated into more than 30 languages and adapted into a popular television series. Camilleri was also a political activist and a drama teacher before turning to writing later in life.
