Aileen Wuornos
Aileen Wuornos was a notorious American serial killer who murdered at least seven men in Florida between 1989 and 1990. Wuornos claimed that the murders were committed in self-defense, but was eventually convicted and sentenced to death. Her case has been the subject of several films, documentaries, and books. Wuornos was executed by lethal injection in 2002.
